Loudoun Museum

Specific Need

The money raised from Give Choose 2024 will contribute to our student and youth programming. We continue to expand our educational and interpretive offerings to our youngest visitors and will utilize money raised to create learning resources that can be shared in the classroom, accessed digitally, and experienced at the museum.

This year money raised during the Give Choose campaign on March 19 will be matched up to $1000.

Mission

As we strive to fulfill our role as the official repository for Loudoun’s history, our mission is to navigate Loudoun County's evolving future, conserve Loudoun's diverse and complete history, interpret authentically, and disseminate knowledge of Loudoun’s culture, history, and natural treasures.

Profile

The Museum is the only county museum. It cares for over 8,000 artifacts that illustrate the history of the county and its inhabitants. It uses the collection to interpret Loudoun history through permanent and changing exhibits and to educate the public about Loudoun history through programs, resource materials, and events. The Museum helps foster heritage tourism throughout the region. Loudoun
