Goal: $10,000.00
Specific Need
Windy Hill Foundation provides safe affordable housing and a path to self-sufficiency for residents in both Loudoun and Fauquier Counties. We have 310 units of affordable housing to residents in Middleburg, Brambleton, Sterling, Marshall, and The Plains. In addition, we offer programming and services to support the lives of our residents. From the youngest to the oldest, we aim to improve the quality of life of those who live in our communities and give them pathways to success. Your support stays right in our community!
Through vital partnerships, Windy Hill provides residents access to food through community food pantries, connects residents with utility and rental assistance, and provides essential and necessary items such as toiletries and basic household supplies. Our staff also offers important programming and services. Residents of all ages benefit from organized social activities, dissemination of critical health information updates, and access to food resources to all who live in a Windy Hill community.
Your donation is critical in supporting our programs and your neighbors! With your support, we will continue to meet the needs of our under resourced neighbors. Your contribution is critical in sustaining the Foundation’s efforts to keep families and seniors in their homes, food on their tables, and continued access to important programs and services.
2024 Campaign: This year’s campaign will support two instrumental resources that the Foundation provides. (1) Our Education endowment grants residents access to a Montessori education, or vocational school, college, or continuing education. (2) Our Emergency Financial Assistance fund supports residents in their most dire need to provide support with an unexpected medical, car, or utility bill.
Meet your neighbor, John Kwon, a recipient of a Windy Hill education scholarship: “I was and still am very thankful that I was able to receive a partial scholarship and tuition assistance from Windy Hill Foundation.” In 2019, as part of the financial aid scholarship agreement with Windy Hill, John started volunteering with the Foundation’s Summer Camp. “I was grateful for that experience because it gave me the opportunity to be in a leadership position. We took many trips and had many fun adventures that summer in The Plains.”

A Note from Eloise:
"I am honored to offer a match to support both our Education Endowment and our Emergency Financial Assistance fund. I see how these two programs sustain our mission and help our neighbors in their education pursuits or when they have a dire and unexpected expense. I have the pleasure of meeting with residents, long-time supporters, and with our invaluable partner organizations. Our work is made possible through partnerships, volunteer participation, and donations. Community support makes our mission possible!
I hope you will join me in supporting Windy Hill through Give Choose, and I'm pleased to offer a matching gift!" -Eloise Repeczky
