Specific Need
We are dedicated to using the funds raised to help those dealing with Asthma, physcial disabilities and cerebral palsy No matter the circumstances, we strive to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.Mission
Our charity was created to raise awareness and help those with health concerns like asthma and other conditions in memory of our beloved Alessandra.
Alessandra had a smile that could light up a room and a heart as big to fill it. She always looked to find ways to help others who were in need with her infectious smile.
The Del Principe family has faced challenge head on and understand how important it is to help others working through their own challenges. In 1994 Alessandra and her twin sister Adrianna were born into Anne Marie and Lawrence’s loving household. Both were diagnosed with cerebral palsy shortly after birth. With the love and support of the entire family, they dealt with many surgeries and therapy sessions. The girls parent’s number one focus was to have them grow up to be happy and full of life.
Adrianna’s wedding day with her soon to be husband Josh came on May 1st, 2021. The family was elated because Alessandra had big news as well, she found her future husband Jeff and both were looking forward to their wedding day. Tragedy struck during the reception as Alessandra suffered a severe asthma attack. Although family and health professionals desperately tried to revive her she passed away early the next morning at the young age of 27. Ann Marie, Lawrence and Adrianna were shattered along with all family and friends.
Out of this unimaginable tragedy came our charity A Breath for Alessandra. It is a way for the Del Principe family to help others in need. Join us through donation, volunteering or finding worthy recipients for the charity and keep Alessandra’s memory alive.
