On this Day of Giving, YOU can provide a ‘hand-up’ to your neighbors here in Loudoun County. Donations made to Loudoun Habitat for Humanity stay here in Loudoun County to support homeownership opportunities and home repair projects. So, how exactly do your donations make an impact?

  • Loudoun Habitat continues to acquire and rehab homes for future Habitat families.
  • The Home Repair Program is growing, with over 40 repairs completed for homeowners struggling to keep their homes safe and acessible. 
  • Just before the holidays, Loudoun Habitat celebrated Mr. Reid receiving the keys to his home in Howardsville after a long journey toward safe, reliable and attainable homeownership.
  • The new construction of a duplex in Leesburg for two future homeowners and their families is underway and will be completed later this year.

Everyone deserves a decent, safe, and attainable place to call home.  Loudoun Habitat for Humanity, partners with individuals and families to attain and maintain affordable housing.  We do more than place roofs over heads; we strive to build homes, communities and hope.

Profile

Loudoun Habitat for Humanity was incorporated on April 2, 1993 for the specific purpose of providing adequate housing for all Loudoun County citizens in need.  Families and inidivduals in need of a hand-up, partner with Loudoun Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home.  Habitat homeowners help build or renovate their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.  Our Home Reapir program helps families maintain and stay safe in their homes by addressing necessary, health, safety, and accessibility repairs.  Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance needed to build better lives for themselves.  Thank you for your support.
