Specific Need

More about FFAS and the challenges we face in helping families come together through adoption:  In our efforts to do our part in getting orphaned and children in need of loving families into a forever family of their very own, our agency established a grant program to provide financial grants to qualifying families who are pursuing domestic or international adoption.  The grant money is applied towards the required adoptive home study and post adoption supervision fees, which combined with the many other inherent fees in adoption, can make adoption cost-prohibitive for many families hoping to bring a child into their lives for the first time or to grow their families through adoption.  We strive to help families overcome these ever-increasing financial barriers to adoption.  In doing so, we are able to facilitate the placement of orphaned and waiting children into loving families.

Simply put, donations support our efforts to make the dream of a forever family come true for the many couples and families who desire to welcome a child into their family through adoption AND the many children locally and throughout the world waiting for a forever family of their very own.

About us: Forever Families Adoption Services, Inc. (FFAS) is a Hague Accredited, Virginia Licensed Child Placing Agency located in Middleburg, Virginia.  Founded in 2001 we provide adoption services (home studies, adoption education/guidance, post placement supervision and parental placement adoption services to individuals, couples and families who desire to welcome a child into their family through domestic and international adoption. 

In 2015 FFAS became Hague Accredited, enabling the agency to serve families planning an adoption from any country.  The Hague Accreditation process is designed to make certain agencies operate in a manner that ensures intercountry adoptions take place in the best interests of children and prevent abduction, exploitation, sale, or trafficking of children in accordance with the principles of the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption.

In our 23 years of operation FFAS has established itself as being a supportive, flexible, highly regarded, efficient and cost-conscious agency – making home study and post placement services available to a broad spectrum of families throughout the entire Commonwealth of Virginia.  Because we are based in Middleburg, Virginia, many of the families we serve reside in Loudoun and Fauquier Counties.  

FFAS is a 501(c)(3) licensed non-profit child placing agency.  We can only accept charitable donations for purposes that are consistent with our philosophy and mission.  Charitable donations to FFAS are fully tax deductible.  Donations from individuals and/or organizations do not influence in any way our activities and decisions as a Hague Accredited, Licensed Child Placing Agency.
