Specific Need

Thank you for considering a gift to the HSLC! Your gift today will help us pay for the following:

• $20-   Provide 2 pet food kits for families in need, or 2 community cats enough kibble for a month
• $50-   Vaccinate an animal for rabies OR provide 5 pet food kits for families in need
• $75-   Cover a sick exam for a foster animal
• $100- Provide 20 pet food kits for families in need

ALL DONATIONS WILL BE MATCHED up to $TBD until midnight on March 25 thanks to our challenge gift donors.

Mission

We are a foster-based, all-volunteer organization that saves and improves the lives of vulnerable animals by providing care and placing adoptable animals into loving forever homes.   

Profile

HSLC has been helping animals since our founding in 1966.  HSLC has no paid staff nor a physical facility or shelter; all of our animals are in foster homes or in temporary boarding until they are adopted into their furr-ever homes. 

Thanks to community support, HSLC helped thousands of animals in 2024:

• Over 200 cats and dogs fostered
• Over 130 community cats helped
• Over 7,000 animals fed via the Loudoun Pet Pantry
