Goal: $10,000.00
Specific Need
Sustainable Opportunity
During the heart of the pandemic when all of our worksites were shuttered, ECHO started three businesses of our own to ensure that we would always have opportunities for our participants to earn a paycheck. Blue Elegance, ECHO Barkery, and Inclusive Solutions have proven to be invaluable, positive experiences for the people that ECHO supports. These businesses have added stability and diversity to our Employment Program, now we have to ensure that these businesses are sustainable.
How You Can Help
Our goal today is to raise $10,000 to further the abilities of our Blue Elegance team. The funds raised at Give Choose will enable us to purchase a laser engraver which we will utilize to customize our candles and crafts for our customers. This will not only increase the services that we can offer, but it will also enhance the experience of our participants who are working in Blue Elegance.
Mission
ECHO's mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their optimal level of personal, social and economic success.
Profile
What We Do
ECHO was started in 1975 as a non-profit that would provide lifelong support to individuals with disabilities. The services provided to our almost 200 participants in our programs include skill building, job placement, day support, and transportation. Through the provision of these services, we are empowering our participants to be active members of the community.
For nearly 50 years ECHO has provided a supportive environment for individuals with disabilities to discover their talents, nurture their abilities, and to gain new and valuable life skills.
Your Support
We are very proud of the level of quality that our products have reached in Blue Elegance. The engraving machine that we want to purchase would open up a new market for us with customizable gifts on a large scale as well as a smaller scale. This will give us more opportunity to sell our product, in turn making this a viable and sustainable opportunity for our participants at ECHO.
