How it Works
You choose your charity. You decide to give. The big day of giving is March 19, 2024.
BUT . . . you can also schedule gifts in advance during our early giving period the two weeks leading up to Give Choose, beginning March 5, 2024. It won’t appear on the leader board until March 18 at midnight.
Months in advance, local charities begin working together to plan for Give Choose. With more than 140 nonprofits participating, you can find any cause close to your heart to support, from human services to nature and animals, from education to arts and culture - all working together to benefit Loudoun and northern Fauquier Counties.

Founded in 1999 in the tradition of community foundations across the U.S., the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties was created by local volunteers who understood the importance of local philanthropy and endowment. About Give Choose
Give Choose, our community's largest day of giving, is a 24-hour day of online giving organized by the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties to benefit local charities serving our community. The goal: inspire our community to come together to give generously to charities that make our community the best place to grow up and grow old.
During Give Choose, the average gift is $250. But, with as little as $10, you will make a difference for your chosen charity. With more than 140 local nonprofit organizations participating, anyone can find a cause to support.
Give Choose takes place on March 19, 2024, beginning midnight and ending 11:59 p.m. And, thanks to our generous sponsors, we will award prizes to charities hitting special benchmarks throughout the 24-hour period of giving.
During a two-week Early Giving period beginning on March 5, donors may also make their donations in advance of the big day on March 19.
Since 2014, Give Choose has raised more than $4.2 million for local nonprofits in Loudoun and Northern Fauquier. Help make our community one of the most generous in Virginia.
