Specific Need

HealthWorks for Northern Virginia is a patient-centered medical practice providing compassionate, comprehensive care with excellence. Our multilingual team offers medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare to all community members, no matter your income or insurance status. HealthWorks gives families the care coordination they need for optimal health. 

HealthWorks remains committed to providing high-quality care to our community, but changes in federal funding could present challenges to our ability to continue providing the level of care and access necessary to serve our vulnerable population. With community support, we can provide:

• A $35 glucometer to a diabetic patient to check blood sugar level
• Transportation to a visit to a specialist, valued at $50.
• A $100 screening mammogram for the detection of breast cancer
• A $125 dental exam and cleaning for an underinsured patient
• A $380 HPV vaccine to acquire immunity against infection from certain human papillomavirus

Profile

HealthWorks is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), providing affordable services to men, women, and children regardless of income or insurance status. With five full-service healthcare centers with locations in Fairfax (Herndon, Reston, and Sully District) and Loudoun (Leesburg, Sterling) Counties, we are a one stop shop for family care offering both medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare services. In addition, we offer outreach programs at schools, libraries, and other community partners to reach the underserved populations in our community.
